We empower and support all youth, including those with disabilities — cultivating a safe, nurturing environment that elevates the quality of life for young people and their families. Physically, Mentally and Socially.

The daily program

Four pillars. Every weekday. Built to change lives.

Kids arrive at 3 PM after school and leave at 6 PM — 15 hours of structured development every week. Monday through Friday.

3:00 – 4:00 PM

Movement

Strength training, conditioning, group sports, and team challenges paired with nutritional support to help build discipline, consistency, and healthy stress release.

4:00 – 4:45 PM

Academic Support

Homework help, tutoring partnerships, workshops with a strong focus in STEM, Financial literacy, language arts & structured study time.

4:45 – 5:30 PM

Mentorship

Conflict resolution, emotional regulation, drug prevention, identity + purpose work, and leadership circles for teens.

5:30 – 6:00 PM · 2–3× weekly

Career Pathways

Guest speakers, hands-on trades intro (electrical, mechanical), entrepreneurship basics, financial literacy, and enrichment programs.

About · Our story

Built on a lifetime of service.

Karlynn Cammon is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Play 2 Fitness Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and communities through fitness, wellness, and educational initiatives. She also serves as an accomplished Healthcare Executive currently holding the position of Associate Director of Operations at Leidos — bringing extensive expertise in organizational leadership, program development, and strategic strategies to both the public health and nonprofit sectors.

Her lifelong dedication to service began at the age of nine, when she joined her parents and grandparents in feeding the homeless and supporting underserved populations. These early formative experiences instilled in her a deep commitment to social responsibility and motivated her ongoing efforts to address health disparities and expand access to essential resources. Over the years, she has continued this legacy through youth-focused wellness programs and strategic advocacy that create lasting community impact.

Ms. Cammon's educational credentials and professional experience enhance her leadership capabilities — grounding her in healthcare systems, organizational management, and public health policy. She also carries key professional certifications that bolster her expertise in operational excellence.

Through Play 2 Fitness Inc., Ms. Cammon blends her healthcare background and philanthropic dedication to develop innovative after-school fitness and wellness programs that foster physical activity, mental resilience, and holistic well-being. Under her leadership, the organization has become a powerful catalyst for positive change — providing inclusive opportunities that allow youth and families to thrive.

Ms. Cammon exemplifies both professional excellence and a lifelong devotion to service, positioning her as a trusted advocate for health equity, community empowerment, and systemic change at the local, state, and federal levels.
